FAQ's
Why are your Bridal Trials mandatory?
You wouldn’t get married without trying on your wedding dress so it shouldn’t be any different when it comes to your wedding makeup!
Client satisfaction is incredibly important to me. I want to build rapport with my brides and collaborate together to create the perfect makeup look for their special day and ensure that the makeup lasts.
My past brides are always satisfied with their bridal trial but on their wedding day, they are always surprised by how much better the makeup looks. This is because I take extensive notes and make adjustments as needed. I also have a better understanding of their features so I can execute the look even better on the day.
At the bridal trial, I also work with my brides on their skincare routine to ensure that their skin is in its best condition leading up to the wedding. You can never achieve perfection on the first go so a bridal trial is essential!
When should I book my trial?
I will reach out 3-4 months before your wedding date to schedule your Bridal Trial.
If you want a trial before securing the date, that is totally fine as well! But please note that I cannot guarantee that I will still be available on your wedding date after your trial.
Can I bring someone with me to the trial?
Yes, you can certainly bring along one friend or family member to give feedback.
Do I need a touch up service?
I always have longevity and durability in mind when I do my clients makeup. However, we need to remember that our skin moves, it has heat and it produces oils. Paired with environmental factors like humidity and heat, there is only so much I can do.
If your wedding day is 10+ hours or in spring/summer, I would highly recommend getting your makeup touched up at your reception.
Can I make changes to my booking after paying the deposit?
Yes, you can. You may add additional services if time allows but you can’t remove services.
You may also change the ‘getting ready’ time but this may affect the early start fees.
If it’s a big bridal party and you are required to finish earlier, you will be charged an assistant fee to help speed up the process.
Your ‘getting ready’ location may also change and I will revise the travel fee accordingly.
